I was going through a box of records that I hardly listen to anymore, seeing what was there and what should stay or go. I came across this track which was one of the records I used to play back in 2000. From the Schema label at the height of my nu-jazz period. One thing I remember about the early Schema releases is they never quite got their inner sleeves right. It used to be such a pain trying to get the records back in the sleeves as the edges and opening were all glued up wrong.
Funny what you remember about things, and it doesn’t really seem like 10 years since this came out. My tastes have developed a fair bit since those days this could still sound right in the right kind if setting.
