DATE OF FIRST POST?

12 March 07

HOW OFTEN DO YOU POST?

We try and post every week, but with kids and other commitments, sometimes we lapse a few weeks.

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU STOP THE BLOG?

Nothing, we hope.

HYPE MACHINE OR EL.BOWS?

Not sure, you’ll have to excuse our ignorance.

BLOGS IN THE KEY OF LIFE
WHAT IS BEHIND YOUR BLOG NAME?

Can’t remember how we came by the name, I think it was Joe’s call, It was going to be “chocolate money” which is a Bobby Georgeism, we’re all big darts fans at Keyboardmasher.

THE BLOG IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN?

Rubbish TV. I’d rather blog than watch Holby.

THE BLOG IS LESS IMPORTANT THAN?

The Darts, you’ll always catch us down at Lakeside.

A POST YOU ARE DAMN PROUD OF?

We try to be proud of every post.

WHY MP3S, AND WHY NOW?

Mp3s rock! So much easier to post than records and much cheaper.

WHAT BAND OR PRODUCER IS REALLY DOING IT FOR YOU RIGHT NOW?

There’s a guy called Alan Wilkis from Brooklyn who sent me a project called “Babies Dream Big”which is a mix of 70s soul and soft rock, which to my ears sound a bit like the Steve Miller Band, perfect music for sunny evenings.

OTHER THAN LIKING THEIR TRACK WHAT WOULD A BAND OR LABEL HAVE TO GIVE YOU TO MAKE YOU POST ON THEM?

Lots of money.

IF YOU COULD GET ANY WRITER OR MUSIC EVENT EXCLUSIVE FOR YOUR BLOG, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

It would be pretty cool to hear what Will Self would stick up for his 7.

THREE IS THE MAGIC NUMBER
3 BLOGS THAT YOU RECOMMEND / INSPIRED YOU TO START:

In the begining, it was Joe’s idea to do the blog, I think maybe Lovefingers may have been an inspiration for him. I never really paid much attention until we were up and running, but I always check for Donnaslut now, Perfect Love Affair and Miss Budd, she makes lovely handbags and purses, perfect gifts for girls. Oh and Innersounds without which I’d never of heard Osunlade’s remix of Phil Collins’ “In The Air Tonight” forbidden fruit indeed.

3 DESERT ISLAND BOOKS:

Ringolevio:A Life Played for Keeps – Emmett Grogan
Divided Soul – David Ritz
Papillion – Henri Charriere
All three tried and tested on desert islands.

3 DESERT ISLAND RECORDS:

“Kes” John Cameron
“Ole” John Coltrane
“1000 Volts of Holt” John Holt

3 PEOPLE YOU REALLY HOPE WILL READ YOUR BLOG:

There’s not much to read on our blog, but we try to please everyone with the music.

3 PEOPLE YOU HOPE WILL NEVER READ YOUR BLOG:

Georgie, Donnie and Condie.

AND FINALLY
A TRACK FOR THE READERS OF INNERSOUNDS…
