Nothing much I can tell you about this record – except I picked it up in a flea market, it’s a Brasilian 10″ album on Odeon, and so old it doesn’t have a date – but does have a cool pastel/hand drawn cover so I’m guessing 50s or mid-40s. Oh, and it needs a clean. [...]

I was in a record store in Notting Hill a few weeks ago, and there was this pile of twenty or more 10″ Latin albums. They were all from the ’40s and ’50s. The covers were amazing, graphically speaking. I asked whether they were expensive, and got a disinterested answer along the lines of ‘No-one [...]
