I’m back from further travels at last. Nice to be home. Apologies to peeps who have been checking back and getting no updates.
Things at work are a bit twilight zone at the moment, which after 5 years of relative peace is weird. So I pulled a random record to blog as usual, and it was this one. With lyrics like this:

Almost brought a tear to my eye, talk about messages in the music, and it came at the right time too.
About the song though - it was almost my theme tune last year I played it so much. A staple 12 in most disco DJ’s boxes I am sure. But the great thing about it is the basic song is beautiful.
There are lots of other great versions out there to be tracked down. The OG is by Ned Doheny on a Japan only release but well worth the dollar.
