I realise Spring time is when most bears are supposed to come out of hibernation, but this blog-bear is about to go into it…
I’m off to Japan for three weeks of record shopping, noodle-slurping and onsen-dipping.
Last time I went to Japan I was writing for Horse Latitudes and I made a little mixtape of some of the records I bought out there, called Tokyo Drifter. When I get back I hope to be able to put a part two together for y’all.

As a casual bylistener, i can’t seem to come up with anything suitably erudite concerning part 1 of the mix, except to say wow. And also, it has considerably funked up a subzero April morning. So thanks.
