I got a knock at the door from the FedEx man the other evening. He told me he had a parcel for me from a Mr Don Froth. There was no return address, but judging from all the customs stickers on it, it had come a long way. When I opened the package and pulled out the bubble wrap, red sand drained on to the counter.
In the bubble wrap was a scratched-up and chipped 8-track, all it said on it was ‘PLAY’. I slipped the casing into my Panasonic RS-804 and was mesmerised by two new tracks from the ‘Froth.
There’s little chance the man who sent me that music will read this. He’s as elusive as the mist on a mountain lake. I have sent my pigeons out to track him down, and hope to get word back that I can blog his music in the near future for all y’all.
In the meantime though, here’s what happened after I heard the music.
Still floating and slightly dazed I pulled this Hiroshima record out. An album I haven’t listened to since I bought it. Set the recording off, pitched the track down to -4.5, put needle to record, and slid the faders up.
I think the Don would be pleased. Don, wherever you are, this is for you.

So I was browsing around the net looking for a new music blog and I stumbled upon your site. I am really excited about your site. The music is great, lots of variety and great selection and the interface is outstanding. I am diggin’ what you’ve digged.
