I was out jarring with Jaksoul of Basilika fame and he was telling me about his new(ish) residency with Christophe and others at Ain’t It Black.
Seems it’s a proper old skool 80’s synth hoe-down that goes off even on school nights.
I probably wouldn’t have the right records for that crowd, but getting home I pulled this out and thought it might just work, what do you reckon Jak & Christophe?

Sounds like an interesting night to check, and I would happily jiggle my blarts anywhere where this Kano track is playing. Did you check the mash-up with this and Fela Kuti I posted not so long back?

yes, one of those Afrodisiac Soundsystem ones, but the best of the bunch IMHO
this track kills it at any night, it has to be one of the best all time disco jams. i love it!
