I first fell in love with this track through hearing David Holmes (remember him?!) play it in the 90s. The original is from Billy Paul’s ‘Going East’ album pictured above. Then I got this Moton edit by Diesel & DJ Harvey.

Pretty simple four-four underlaying everything, but it helps move the track along for those without a jazz beard.
