obrigado

November 17, 2008

This is getting played every week at Jack’s at the moment and I’m loving the change in vibe it creates.  First heard it played by David Mancuso at the Summer Loft in London.  When I got a copy I saw it was actually written by Dominic Dawson – a guy I used to work with at The Exchange record shops.  Haven’t seen him for years.  But big props to him for this.  It is a lovely record.

The Deal – Obrigado

Ooh, I have this somewhere. Will go dust it down now that I know its a Mancuso/Procter classic. Isn’t there quite a nice Spinna production on the same comp?

Will make it down to Jacks one of these days and show these lack-luster boozers a thing or two about musical receptivity.
