So I was digging through my Brasilian records, and noticed the number of times ‘Reza’ cropped up. It is without doubt one of my favourite tunes and I am always a sucker for picking up a copy.
So this week I thought I’d run through a few different versions. Some lively, some subdued. Sung by men, sung by women. Live and studio variations. For a long time my favourite was this totally stripped back simple version by the Sergio Mendes Trio.
But actually there’s a better one I prefer… more coming up in the week. Stay tuned.
