sunshine

February 8, 2009

I first heard this out in Japan on a mixtape I picked up in a record store called Manhattan (R.I.P)…

They used to stock homemade tapes cassette mixes by DJs and one of these was by Matsuura who was a member of UFO at the time. It is still one of my all time favourite mixtapes. It introduced me to lots of tracks I had never heard before…by Azymuth, Galliano and of course this studio-noodle-jam B-side by D’Angelo.

Still some tracks on the mix I have never ID’d. I have posted it up on a few music forums before, but maybe not on this blog. I should do that when Summer swings around.
