I’m listening to the blues this evening…
Friday night; while I was out enjoying DJing and then later at Computer Boogie to hear some serious funk being thrown down, Casa Innersounds was broken into.
Fortunately the family were out at a friend’s house for the weekend so the place was empty. But whoever broke in had a good time trashing the place and stealing. I got in at 3am to find front windows broken and the back door swinging open into the night…
So that kind of put a dampener on the weekend.
But the blues aren’t sung to make you feel bad. I always think (and I’m no blues scholar) that you listen to the blues to cheer yourself up.
Which is why I picked Albert King, he’s always got it worse than me…

Mate, that blows. It’s one thing to take your stuff, it’s another to trash the place too. In blues parlance, they’re lowdown dirty dogs. Hope you get things back to normal soon.
