third world

April 22, 2008

The more I learn about Third World the more I love.

Several records in their back-catalogue are ‘Loft’ classics, and draw a big cheesy grin from me too.

This has to be my personal favourite though, and what with Spring here and Summer just around the corner, maybe a good time to start dropping some Summertime vibes.

My first real introduction into reggae was with Third World in the late seventies. We used to play the b side of “Now That We Found Love” which was called “One Cold Vibe”. Coincidentally i just ordered their “Journey To Addis” album Yesterday.
